The KOPS luncheon was held November 10, 2011 at the Plantation Oaks Restaurant, Plantaion at Leesburg. 

The luncheon was held at 11:30 and Barbara Mohave called the meeting to order at 12:30. Dawn Marks, Koorespondent read the minutes from the October 24th meeting.  Betty Graves, Kashier gave the treasurers report. 

Barbara asked each member present to stand and give their name and chapter #.  There were 27 members present, a great turnout! 

Our new KOPS were welcomed. It was decided that we will try to get a direct communication via email to all our local chapters. 

Linda Burfield, from #661Florida had the program today. She handed out pamphlets from the Leesburg Humane Society, explained that it is a no-kill facility, and donations are desperately needed.  Our KOPS members donated dog food and money today along with canned goods for our Food Pantry.

Lisette explained that we have only five meting per year and at our January 12th meeting we will be electing new officers for the positions of Kaptain, Korrespondant, and Kashier,  We discuss at our September meeting what organization we will make our Christmas donations to, and in November we take our donations to the meeting.

Mary Fahr attended the IRD in Milwaukee this summer and told us about her experiences there.   We are so pleased to see so many people at our KOPS Honor Luncheon.  The meeting was adjourned at 1:00 by Kaptian Barbara Mojave.

I will send an announcement to all the Chapters that I have emails for reminding them of our January 12th, 2012 luncheon at the Plantation Oaks.
