2004 LOUISIANA STATE QUEEN
Joanette Gullotto
TOPS®#LA416, Brusly
77.75 Pounds Lost to Goal
SUCCESS STORY
When I joined TOPS®
in June 2001 I knew right away this was the program I'd been searching
for. I lost my weight slowly with few gains and some turtles. Through
eating sensibly, exercising regularly and with the love and support of
fellow members I reached my goal two years and eleven months later.
My appearance and overall health have
improved tremendously. I honestly feel better today than I did twenty
years ago.
What I love most about TOPS® and it's
wonderful support is that I can remain a member for life and maintain my
goal weight.
TOPS® has changed my life forever.

TOPS®#LA71, Pineville
70.50 Pounds
SUCCESS STORY
I joined TOPS®#LA71, Pineville in 1998. With
support and encouragement from chapter members, I lost the weight and
was chapter queen for 1999. Then I got sick. I laid around and ate,
going back up to 197.50 pounds. I still continued in TOPS®, but I
now knew the frustration of just not being able to lose the weight. My
sister called from Washington and asked me to go on a healthy lifestyle
plan - I did. With an eating plan and walking two miles a day, I got
down to my goal weight of 125 pounds. I now wear a size 4 petite.
Thanks to weekly weigh-ins and the support of my chapter, I am an
International winner.

2004 INTERNATIONAL
1st PLACE MEN'S
DIVISION 5
Pershing Wade
TOPS®#LA376, Galliano
14.50 Pounds
SUCCESS STORY
Pershing joined TOPS® in 1998, since his mother and
then his father joined. Pershing has to maintain his weight to keep his
small frame in balance, since any weight gain can present a problem.
Being epileptic and in a wheelchair is no fun, so Pershing works had at
portion control. Pershing is developmentally delayed, and that alone
gives Pershing a wonderful outlook on life. He is always cheerful and
enjoys the Helping Hand Pledge. With the support of his TOPS® family,
especially TOPS®#LA376, Galliono, Peshing will stay fit and trim.
